Come together for an inspiring morning of teaching and fellowship followed by lunch.
August 2, 2012 to August 6, 2012Bon Echo Provincial Park
Each year a good percentage of both churches go camping together, it is lots of fun, a great way to make new friends (nothing says bonding like sharing a tent!), and a fantastic time away. What does the cost include? The site. Each group of campers is responsible for coordinating and paying for their own meals. If you need transportation that can be coordinated through the church office, but please split gas costs with your drivers. Will there be a full schedule of activities? On Sunday morning there will be a meeting (time and place to be determined... probably to be determined on Sunday morning, it’s a relaxed weekend.) There will also be a campfire, potluck, and one block of children's activities (further details TBA). Aside from that it’s BYOF (bring your own fun), so feel free to bring games, soccer balls, horseshoes, and whatever else you’d like to do. Canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats are available to rent from the park. There are places to hike and some lovely beaches. What will the accommodations be like? Each site is a patch of ground, depending on whether or not you have booked a site with electricity there will or will not be an outlet sticking out of the ground. Each site should coordinate camping supplies (tents, camping mats, sleeping bags, etc.) There are central washrooms (with showers, toilets, and sinks.) Can I bring friends or family who aren’t part of the church? Yes, you can bring anyone you like! How many people can fit on a campsite? 6 people. What if I want to share a site with someone? That’s totally cool, get a group together, nominate one person to book and pay for the site through allnationsottawa.com/conferences and split the cost amongst yourselves as you see fit. (Note: there is no way to book a site without paying online.) Are dogs allowed? Dogs are allowed on the campground but need to be on a leech no longer than 2m, must be supervised at all time, and owners must clean up their waste . Dogs are not welcome on the beach. What should I bring?
